Egypt is Hilton's longest-standing market in the Middle East and Africa region, where it has been operating for more than 60 years Hilton is planning to triple its presence in Egypt, increasing the number of hotels to 25 and expanding its footprint to more than 40 properties. The expansion includes the opening of its lifestyle brand, Tapestry Collection, on the African continent, as well as Egypt’s first Curio Collection and a resort under the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand. Hilton Cairo Nile Maadi, located in the capital’s upscale Maadi district, is scheduled to open in early 2025. Egypt is Hilton’s longest-standing market in the Middle East and Africa region, with more than 60 years of operations, Carlos Khneisser, vice president, development, Middle East & Africa said. Several existing properties in Egypt are undergoing refurbishments, including the Ramses Hilton, Hilton Pyramids Golf and Hilton Cairo Heliopolis.
