Sabic Agri-Nutrients Company Overview

Sabic Agri-Nutrients Company was established under in 1965 with capital of SR100 million, the first petrochemical company in Saudi Arabia.

Now, Saudi Arabian Basic Industries Corporation (Sabic) owns 50.1 percent with 49.9 percent being held by the private sector and the public.

It produces and sells fertiliser products, mostly ammonia and urea. In 2024 it produced more than 8.5 million tonnes, a year-on-year increase of 2.6 percent. It serves 4,500 orders a year to more than 150 countries.

Sabic Agri-Nutrients Company owns stakes in National Chemical Fertilizer Co, Arabian Industrial Fibers Co and Yanbu National Petrochemical Co.

Its fully owned subsidiary Sabic Agri-Nutrients Investments Co has stakes in companies including Al-Jubail Fertilizer Co and Bahrain’s Gulf Petrochemical Industries Co.
