Raysut Cement Overview

Raysut Cement is Oman’s largest cement manufacturer.

It supplies cement to domestic and export markets including Yemen, Somalia, Mauritius, Qatar, Iraq, Tanzania and Sudan from its main production facility in Salalah.

According to the World Cement Association, the company has a total annual production capacity of 7.1 million tonnes.

In February 2025 Raysut Cement signed a memorandum of cooperation with Oman Environmental Services Holding Company and Germany-based MVW Lechtenberg to explore the feasibility of producing refuse-derived fuels.

Abu Dhabi Fund for Development holds a 15 percent stake, Islamic Development Bank holds 11.71 percent and Oman Investment Authority has a 7.32 percent stake.

Subsidiaries include Pioneer Cement Industries, Sohar Cement Factory, Raysut Maldives Cement and Raysut Cement Trading Madagascar.
